Sherlock pulled the scarf that slightly covered John’s mouth down with his index finger to get a better look at his precious smile, the air from his mouth visible in small white clouds with every breath.
Sherlock slowly leaned in and pressed his lips against John’s. The noises of London were set on pause, and all Sherlock could hear was his heartbeat pounding all throughout his body.
John’s eyes widened a bit in surprise as Sherlock leaned in and gently kissed him, but then slowly closed them, lost in the moment. When they finally separated, he kept his eyes closed for a moment, before looking at Sherlock and quietly saying, “You’re going to catch my cold.” Then he leaned in and kissed the detective again. John put his cocoa-free hand on Sherlock’s cheek and ran his thumb over his cheek.
I suck at titles okay just kill me now.
