Secret Cosplay: The Once-lerby ~SakiRee

I meant to upload this forever ago, but you know me.

I decided to cosplay The Once-ler from The Lorax at AnimeBoston waaay last minute. So I literally pulled this out of my ass in 3 days.

I used this pattern ([link]) for the vest (A). I didn't need to do any altering so it was a really really quick make.
The wig is a Black Derek from Arda-Wigs.
The gloves are from JoAnns.
The fedora is from HotTopic.
The undershirt and pants are from my closet, but I painted the pants with fabric paint, using thick masking tape to make it look nice and straight. :3
I was going to make an actual thneed, but I didn't have enough time. Luckily, I found pink fabric in my sewing box to use temporarily.

It's totally comfortable to wear and it's totally one of my favorites!
I'll be making Greed!Once-ler over the summer.
